Today 22nd day of February 2023 the Former President John Mahama declared his intention to contest the “Flagbearership” race in the NDC ahead of the 2024 December elections.

Many Ghanaians on social media today has welcomed His Excellency the Former President Mr. John Dramani Mahama’s decision to run his fourth presidential campaign with good-will messages.
You can only imagine the excitement displayed on the faces of these rejuvenated people when they saw a nomination filled on behalf of the “Visionary Leader” today at the First Atlantic Bank.
Earlier on, UTV Ghana had tweeted, “Fmr. President John Dramani Mahama has declared his intention to contest for the presidency in the 2024 presidential election” in their news.

Dr. Kwabena Duffour who has also showed interest in the race posted on his Facebook timeline, “The National Democratic Congress has today officially opened nominations for the election of Presidential and Parliamentary candidates for the 2024 general elections. I am happy to announce that tomorrow I will pick forms at 9am, to contest to be the next NDC Flagbearer by the Grace of the Almighty God. To all Comrades who have lost hope, I say to you today, that HOPE is HERE! The journey to rescue and reposition the NDC for VICTORY 2024 begins!”
Mr. Kojo Bonsu, the former “KMA Boss” also in a Facebook post cited, “My plans for Ghana, encouragement from great leaders across the country and the discerning delegates gave me the opportunity to pick up the Presidential Nomination form this afternoon 22nd Feb, 2022. I am doing this for the future of our youths and Ghana at large. The hard economic challenges are affecting people from all walks of life especially the DELEGATES (Grassroots). Do not allow the old trends of allowing yourselves to be abandoned right after elections. You have the power to change it now and make Ghana a better place.Team Kojo Bonsu believes in you!
